Recerna was built on-premise from day one. SOC 2 Type II is on the roadmap — but because your data never enters our environment, most of what SOC 2 protects against simply doesn't apply to us in the meantime. We'll walk your security team through the full data-flow document.
Runs on your own machines
The standard deployment is a signed desktop app. It starts a local server bound to 127.0.0.1 — reachable only from that machine, never the network, never the public internet. We don't receive, store, or see your lead data.
No patient data, no BAA
Recerna works with provider directory information — NPI, practice address, specialty — not PHI. No patient data is ever involved, so a Business Associate Agreement typically doesn't apply. We'll put that in writing.
Two sub-processors, only when enabled
The government sources are public reference data. The only services that ever receive your data are Google (Places) and your phone validator — and only when you switch those sources on.
Local storage that expires itself
Cache and run history live on your machine with a 14-day default lifetime — clear them anytime by deleting a folder. When you leave, you uninstall; there's nothing on our side to retrieve or delete.
